What Is CBG?

Clean fuel, made from waste not fossils.

Compressed Biogas is chemically identical to CNG, but made from organic waste instead of fossil fuels. It’s carbon-neutral, burns cleaner than diesel or petrol, and is eligible for multiple government subsidy schemes.

A Nexgen Energia CBG plant converts crop residue, cattle manure, food scraps, and municipal organic waste into two revenue streams: high-purity CBG fuel and premium bio-fertilizer both bought back by Nexgen Energia at agreed rates.

Every Nexgen Energia CBG plant whatever its size is built around the same five functional areas.

Reception area — feeding

Loading, unloading, pre-treatment, and sorting of raw organic materials. Designed for your specific feedstock type.

Digester area — fermentation (CSTR)

Waterproof, airtight anaerobic digestion tanks with agitators. Fermentation runs continuously biomass is shifted to prevent layer formation.

Purification area — gas cleaning (PSA)

Gas holder collects biogas. Pressure Swing Adsorption system removes CO₂, H₂S, and moisture. Output: high-purity methane.

Filling area — compression & cascading

CBG is compressed into cascade cylinders, ready for transport to off-takers or direct industrial customers.

Bio-fertilizer area — slurry tank & packaging

Your plant produces two fertilizer by-products: liquid slurry and solid organic manure. Nexgen Energia buys back 100% of both.
